I build small, focused tools — mostly self-hosted, mostly open source — and ship them under the SyntaxLab name.
Based in Germany. Currently deep in homelab infrastructure, WoW tooling, and web projects that solve a problem I actually have myself before anyone else's.
BlazonUI A companion toolset for World of Warcraft players — boss guides, item lore, and utilities built around the game's own data. Free, no paywalled features.
CachePanel A modern web UI for LanCache setups. Replaces terminal-only game-selection checklists with a proper dashboard: cache stats, Steam/Battle.net/Epic library browsing, one-click prefill.
wandlr · source An open-source file compressor — images (including HEIC), works offline as a PWA. No uploads, everything happens in the browser.
- Self-hosting over subscriptions — if I can run it on my own hardware, I do.
- Free where it counts — BlazonUI stays free; the tools I build to solve my own problems go back out as open source when they might help someone else.
- Small and maintainable beats big and impressive.
