🟡 Minor · Recognize getter-backed contexts when fetchSequence is omitted. · query.ts:883-907

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winRecognize getter-backed contexts when
fetchSequenceis omitted.
FetchContext.fetchSequenceis optional, and custom behaviors can invoke the trackedcontext.options.queryFnthemselves. If such a behavior omitsfetchSequencebut preserves the current context's getter-backedsignal,belongsToThisFetchreadsdescriptor.valueand rejects the context. The query function runs withoutsourceSequencereservation orfetchSourceStarted.Track the getter identity in
addSignalPropertyand accept it in the fallback without reading the getter. The resulting undefineddataSourceSequencecan remain intentional when a custom behavior controls the result.Suggested fix

Review comment at @packages/query-core/src/query.ts around lines 883 - 907: Update addSignalProperty and belongsToThisFetch so the no-fetchSequence fallback recognizes the current fetch’s getter-backed signal without invoking the getter: track the getter identity when adding the signal property, then accept a matching getter in the fallback while retaining the existing value-based check and query-key validation.

🎯 Changes
TanStack DB needs to distinguish an accepted fetch, its first query-function call, a direct cache write, and the result that actually entered Query cache. Query state alone cannot identify those boundaries when fetches cancel, retry, or reenter.
This PR adds a cache-wide sequence clock and exposes those positions through Query cache events, query-function contexts, and observer results. A source-start event carries the installed retryer promise. Query Core leaves result provenance unknown when a custom persister or behavior can return data unrelated to the query function. Tests cover cancellation, retries, reentrant fetches, custom contexts, infinite queries, and observer notification order.
Local checks: Query Core tests pass (1,648 tests across 42 files), along with supported TypeScript checks, build, lint, and formatting. The full test:pr command stops before tests because the current lockfile fails its minimum-release-age policy for ten entries whose versions are absent from the configured registry manifest.
