We take the security of learn-python and its runtime sandbox very seriously. If you discover a security vulnerability:
- Do not disclose publicly: Do not create a public GitHub issue.
- Contact: Email security reports to
manthanank@users.noreply.github.com. - Details to Include:
- Step-by-step reproduction instructions.
- Proof-of-concept exploit code or payload.
- Impact assessment (e.g. sandbox breakout, arbitrary code execution, denial of service).
- Affected platform and Python interpreter version (CPython 3.11, 3.12, 3.13).
- Initial Acknowledgment: Within 24 hours.
- Triage & Validation: Within 48 hours.
- Remediation & Advisory: Typically within 7 business days depending on severity.
