Submit Foojay from the signed-in local runner, not CI - #6042
Merged

Conversation
CI held a separate FOOJAY_GITHUB_TOKEN that went bad (401) and failed the daily syndication run (#6034). The local runner now submits with its own gh login like the other signed-in platforms; CI only dry-runs the selection. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Fixes #6034.
The daily Syndicate Blog Posts run failed on the Foojay step with
Bad credentials (HTTP 401)from theFOOJAY_GITHUB_TOKENsecret. Rather than keep a separate cross-repo token alive in Actions, Foojay now runs where Medium and Hashnode run: the signed-in local runner (run-syndication.sh), which opens the editorial PR with its ownghlogin.blog-syndication.yml: the Foojay step only runs--dry-runand no longer reads the secret.syndication-health.yml: the alert text lists Foojay under the local runner.foojay-syndication.md: setup describes the runner'sghlogin instead of the secret. The runner script lives outside the repo; it gains a Foojay block next to Hashnode (
--submit --head-repo shai-almog/website, with token env vars cleared).🤖 Generated with Claude Code
